The farm and your host
Slätthult is a family farm by Lake Sandsjön in Sexdrega, in the heart of Västergötland. The family has lived on and worked the farm since 1935 and still runs it today with active forestry. The cabins stand on the farm's own land, with the lake as their nearest neighbour.
Christian has been renting out cabins by the lake since 1999. Udden was built in 2012 on its own headland in the lake, and Visthuset was thoroughly renovated in 2015. Christian lives on the farm, welcomes you in person on arrival and is easy to reach throughout your stay – in English, German or Swedish.
Many guests return year after year, often families from Germany and the Netherlands who have found their own quiet spot by the lake.
